SPRINGTIME CLASSIC
29th March 2015
TOUR
The Tour ride is the shortest ride of the Springtime Classic at 35 miles.
Although short in miles, this is still a good test for beginners and those who are coming back to full fitness.
The Tour route avoids the major climbs of the two other longer routes. It has less of the strength sapping pain inducing gradients abundant on the longer routes, but this is not to say that the Tour ride hasn't got a few hills to test your ability.
The route has three main climbs to test the rider climbing ability they are :-
-
Pillow Mounds Hill
-
Cob Lane Hill
-
Ardingly Reservoir Hills
For more information about the hills go to the Riders page, which give information about what the hills are like. Click here
This ride has to make sense for many cyclists who wish to enter the Burgess Hill Springtime cyclosportive to test their fitness amongst other entrants.
